Don't forget to set your clocks.  Daylight savings time ends this weekend.  We all get another hour or sleep!

Fall has arrived!

Yes, the leaves are falling, the temperature is dropping, and soon it will be winter.  Sometime in November you will see stakes marking corners and to aid with snow removal.


If you are going to be gone for some winter travel be sure to let a neighbor or Board member know how to contact you or a local family member in case of emergency.

1st Annual Fall Chili Dump

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

September 21st  10:30ish till whenever 

Your newest neighbors Jean and Dick Winkler and Pam and Ron Hoaglin 

(58 and 62 Somerset) would like to host the first annual chili dump.

Make your favorite chili with or without noodles/ spicy or not, and we will provide the dumping grounds.

Bring your spoon and bowl, whatever you want to drink, and a chair.

We will open up both garages for seating and the Badger Game will be on Radio in the garages and on the TV's in the houses!!!!! 

We will also need some cheese and crackers and desserts.   Let Jean (dickjmw@aol.com) or call 579-0019 know if you will be attending and what you will be bringing.

Annual Meeting and Potluck

  It’s time for our annual association meeting. We will meet on Tuesday, July 30^th  in the driveways of 5 & 9 Yorkshire Dr.  We will begin with an optional social and potluck followed by the meeting. We hope everyone will plan to attend.  If you can’t attend the meeting and have concerns you want discussed please contact any Board member.

Potluck Information

    The association will provide paper plates, utensils and napkins.  Bring your own beverages, lawn chairs, and a dish to pass. We need appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts.  Please contact Cathy Johnson at 48 Somerset (921-6452) and let her know what you plan to bring.

Elections

Our Condo Board is composed of five residents; three officers and two members at large. Board members are elected to serve a two year term.  The Board will elect officers (president, secretary & treasurer) at the first meeting after association elections.  We need to elect three people to serve on the Board (2013-215).  The Board meets about 6 to 8 times per year as needed to manage association activities and responsibilities.  Meetings last about an hour.

    Please consider taking a turn to serve our association.  The election will be held by paper ballot at the end of our association meeting agenda.  If you are willing to place your name on the ballot please contact Joe Ciontea or Brian Johnson

Please water seeded areas

We are attempting to repair bare areas caused by winter kill and snow removal along the condo streets and in the front yards.  Please water when you can.  Post have been placed to keep vehicles off the seeded areas.

Mark your calendar!  We will hold our annual association meeting and potluck on Tues, July 30 from 5pm until 8pm.  Watch for details.

Spring is coming.....

According to the calendar spring has already started.  Based upon the unseasonal weather we are having I think it will be slow coming.

The association board approved a continuation our contract with "Jimmy's Lawn Care" for the grass cutting season.   We will also be contacting Jim about yard cleanup as soon as everything dries out.


Rumor has it that Midwest has several sales in the works for the empty units in our neighborhood. If several sales go through they may begin construction on another building.
